Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Logistics Operations Associate to support daily logistics tasks including picking, packing, shipping/receiving, inventory management, and warehouse duties. Emphasis on safety and productivity per shift. Background in ERP/SAP and ability to lift 50 pounds is required.

You will handle labeling, QA preparation, data entry in SAP, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant logistics experience with demonstrable achievements.
  • DOT and IATA certification, or the ability to obtain.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Accept packages, complete delivery worksheets in Excel, track CofA from vendors and label/store GMP materials.
  • Receive materials, process labels, and prepare for QA inspection.
  • Prepare, package, and label for shipping using carrier software for global distribution.
  • Enter and maintain data in SAP to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Store and maintain inventory for accurate counts and replenishment.
  • Unlock bulk tank gates and complete bulk tank acceptance forms.
  • Suggest system/process improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs.
  • Order supplies as required.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Job Summary

The Logistics Operations Associate will perform a variety of daily functions supporting logistics operations, including picking/packing, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and warehouse activities. A strong focus on safety and productivity is required in all tasks.

Essential Job Functions
  • Accept packages from various couriers; complete delivery worksheets in Excel, track Certificates of Analysis (CofA) from vendors, assist with labeling and storing GMP materials, and deliver items to appropriate parties.
  • Receive materials, process and create labels, and prepare materials for QA inspection.
  • Prepare, package, and label materials for shipping using multiple carrier shipping software, supporting global distribution while meeting regulatory and material preservation requirements.
  • Enter and maintain data in SAP to ensure accuracy and integrity for effective operations.
  • Check and file packing slips.
  • Store and maintain inventory to ensure location and count accuracy, enabling proper replenishment and inventory counts.
  • Unlock bulk tank gates and complete bulk tank acceptance forms.
  • Recommend opportunities to improve systems and processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and drive faster, more accurate outcomes.
  • Order supplies as required.
  • Perform other job functions as assigned.
Qualifications

  • DOT and IATA certification, or the ability to obtain
  • Operational capability with ERP solutions, ideally including SAP
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment without compromising attention to detail or accuracy
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a standard workday
