Job Description

Serioplast, a global leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is seeking a Logistics Specialist for our plants in Mount Jackson, Virginia.

What will you do?

1. Plan and monitor production, material requirements, warehouse capacity, and stock levels.
2. Prepare and expedite purchase orders and scheduling agreements.
3. Record inbound goods receipts in the ERP system.
4. Organize transportation for outbound items, including finished goods, raw materials, spare parts, and regrind, preparing necessary documentation.
5. Create, modify, and reconcile work orders within the ERP system.
6. Assist the warehouse team in inventory counts of raw materials, packing materials, finished goods, and regrind.
7. Manage the rotation of returnable packing materials between plants and clients.
8. Prepare and organize waste management documentation.
9. Maintain time and attendance records.
10. Support the Logistics Manager with daily tasks.

What are we looking for?

• Strong understanding of supply chain processes.
• Basic knowledge of WCM standards.
• Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing logistics department.
