Position Overview

The Logistics Specialist will ensure the smooth execution of inbound and outbound shipments to and from 80 Acres Farms, maintaining high service levels through exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Coordinate with transportation providers and internal teams for timely shipment movement
• Create and communicate daily/weekly shipment schedules and follow up
• Complete and distribute logistics reports
• Resolve issues related to logistics operations and supplier management
• Record non-conformances and work on root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Manage documentation for inbound and outbound operations
• Track and report logistics KPIs
• Audit and track logistics invoices
• Quote rates with carriers for new business opportunities
• Schedule and execute non-standard shipments with the best value carriers
• Engage in project-based work as needed
• Develop processes to improve supply chain efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience preferred
• 2+ years of logistics experience, preferably in refrigerated or manufacturing environments
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and TMS
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to drive change and transform business processes
• Team player, self-motivated, result-oriented
• Effective communicator across all organizational levels
