Job Title:Logistics Specialist II

Department:Operations

Reports To:Operations Business Systems & Manager of Logistics

Location:Beverly, MA

Position Type:Full-Time, Non-exempt, On-site

Job Summary:

The Logistics Specialist II will support shipping, receiving and warehousing operations as well as ensuring movement of material in the ERP system to produce accurate records. The ideal candidate will be familiar with ERP systems, inventory control, and Logistics.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·Manage and coordinate logistics operations, including inventory control, order picking, and order fulfillment.

·Ensure shipments have appropriate documentation and labeling.

·Reporting Serial numbers and tracking numbers in ERP system.

·Work with Sales Operation to resolve sales order and RMA issues.

·Perform inventory transactions ensuring physical movement matches the ERP system.

·Generates and completes “Production Orders” to ensure consigned materials are consumed properly.

·Analyze logistics data to identify trends, improve processes, and reduce costs.

·Receive inventory items into the ERP system as required.

·Process RMA’s and move inventory for evaluation/disposition.

·Assist with physical inventory, make appropriate adjustments in the ERP system to maintain accuracy.

·Ensure accurate inventory numbers and support physical and cycle count processes.

·Reconcile inventory discrepancies.

·Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.

·Assist in Supply Chain initiatives and perform other duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·Proven experience in logistics or Inventory management practices and principles.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·Forklift operating experience preferred.

·Strong experience with Logistics including FedEx.

·Experience with Dangerous Goods shipments preferred.

·Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.

·Ability to work in a team environment.

·US Citizen or green card holder required.

Education and Experience:

·Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

·At least three years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

·Periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·Prolonged periods in a warehouse setting include lifting products, moving products, packing and maneuvering a cart / forklift.

·Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.

Hourly Wage Range: $23 - $25/hour
