Logistics Specialist

Job Description:
The Logistics Specialist will be part of the logistics department, primarily responsible for managing product shipments. The role involves coordinating shipments with third-party warehouses (no direct involvement in warehouse activities) and ensuring accuracy in the shipping process. This includes overseeing the weekly white-glove service for tractor trailers and managing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and track shipments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
Oversee inventory control
Coordinate logistics using SAP S4 Hana, including inventory movements, transactions, and report generation
No direct handling of products or forklifts
Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products.
Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods.
Acts as logistics facilitator to ensure all elements of the distribution process, procedures, and regulatory requirements are coordinated in such a way that internal and external customer requirements, time constraints, and budgetary considerations are met.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

4 year degree (related field preferred)
6+ years experience in Logistics
4-6 years experience in Warehouse & Distribution
4-6 years experience with SAP
