Position Overview

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Logistics Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time Contract, Contract to hire

Duration: 12 months

Location: Chantilly, VA 20151

Essential Functions

• Support an efficient PHS&T process that minimizes delays and errors and helps ensure material shipments arrive at the right place at the right time, improving system availability and reducing life cycle cost.
• Interface daily with the PHS&T Lead and Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to ensure program logistics needs are met.
• Perform asset and equipment audits on customer- and company-owned property as directed.
• Identify, plan, and report the availability and usability of packing materials to the PHS&T Lead and/or IPTL.
• Process, track, and close out shipments to and from customer sites, depot locations, and original equipment manufacturers as needed.
• Monitor and track movement of supplies from stockrooms to field operational support locations.
• Support depot-specific logistics operations as assigned.
• Assist in developing and improving strategies for tracking program assets and spare parts to maximize efficiency.
• Support component inspection, quality-related activities, and training event coordination as required.
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear communication across logistics and program teams.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with Sunflower EAM Tool.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
• Forklift certification.

Qualifications

High School Diploma.

This Position Needs Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $52-$55 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
