Innova Solutions is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Engineer - Java in Charlotte, NC for a 12+ month contract. You will design, develop, test, and document solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React and/or Angular.

Responsibilities include architecting streaming solutions with Apache Kafka, building scalable microservices, deploying on Oracle Cloud Platform, and ensuring CI/CD with Docker and Kubernetes. You will champion cloud-native practices and production-grade reliability.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with microservices experience.
• Front-end experience in React and/or Angular.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems.
• Experience with Oracle DB and NoSQL data stores.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and/or Angular.
• Architect and implement streaming solutions leveraging Apache Kafka.
• Build scalable, modular services aligned with enterprise standards.
• Deploy and manage applications on Oracle Cloud Platform (OCP) or equivalent enterprise cloud providers.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automated release processes are optimized.
• Drive simplification, automation, and adoption of cloud-native practices.
• Champion engineering excellence, code quality, and continuous improvement.
• Promote proactive operational resiliency through automated monitoring, alerting, and self-healing patterns.
• Drive modernization of legacy systems, introducing automation, simplification, and cloud adoption strategies.
• Support on-call or production duties as required.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience in front-end engineering experience in React and/or Angular.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems.
• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL data systems.
• Experience deploying applications on Oracle Cloud Platform (OCP) or equivalent.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD automation, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience in modern development practices including automation, AI-assisted development, and cloud-native engineering.
• Can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range: $50/hr to $55/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
