Job summary

Novolex is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Administrator to join our Meriden manufacturing team. You will coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of finished goods, raw materials, and production supplies, serving as a liaison between Production, Warehouse, Scheduling, and Quality.

You will process shipping transactions in ERP, prepare documents, and maintain inventory accuracy while supporting SQF, GMP, OSHA, and food safety

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturing.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound shipments and inbound deliveries.
• Process shipping, receiving, inventory, and transfer transactions in the ERP system.
• Prepare shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and carrier paperwork.
• Schedule freight with approved transportation providers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through transaction processing, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with customer routing requirements and shipping specifications.
• Support SQF, GMP, OSHA, food safety, and inventory traceability requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Customer Service, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Quality to support operational goals.
• Assist with physical inventories, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
