Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Experience with shipping, warehouse management, or ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with operations, production staff, drivers, and customers.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and delivery paperwork.
Coordinate daily shipping schedules with production and warehouse teams to ensure orders are processed and shipped on time.
Review customer orders for accuracy and confirm shipment requirements prior to dispatch.
Monitor delivery appointments and communicate scheduling updates to drivers, customers, and internal departments.
Track outgoing shipments and provide shipment status updates as needed.
Maintain accurate shipping records and update relevant systems and reports.
Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and operations personnel to resolve shipping issues and delays.
Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance shipping efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and shipping procedures.
Support general warehouse and operational activities as required.
