Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Experience using calculators, desktop computers, and photocopiers.

Responsibilities

• Manage records of incoming and outgoing shipments by coordinating acceptance, delivery, and storage.
• Resolve issues related to damages, shortages, and nonconformance and document communications with carriers and customers.
• Coordinate with representatives and carriers to resolve problems and determine appropriate shipping methods.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents including work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.
• Record and report shipment data including weight, charges, space availability, and discrepancies.
