Job summary

Associated Materials is seeking a Shipper to support our manufacturing facility's logistics and distribution. The role involves preparing, organizing, and overseeing shipments of finished products to customers and other destinations.

You will pick materials, load and palletize, operate forklifts and pallets, unload incoming goods, read orders, and ensure accurate loading while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be safety oriented.
• Experience or willingness to learn how to operate a hand-held scanner and PC to enter shipping data.
• Able and willing to work overtime.
• Able to work in a hot, fast-paced environment 8 or more hours a day.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick material and load floor stacked and palletized material.
• Operate pallet rider and forklift to load/unload.
• Palletize product for loads and cube trailers to fit.
• Unload and put away incoming products and read orders.
• Maintain good inventory practices and 5-S housekeeping.
• Follow established safety guidelines.
