Job summary

Associated Materials / Alside is seeking a Shipper to support our manufacturing facility in Surprise, AZ. The role focuses on preparing, organizing, and overseeing the shipment of finished products to customers and other destinations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate hand-held scanners, palletize loads, and use a forklift as needed, while following safety guidelines and 5-S housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Safety oriented
• Experience or willingness to learn scanner use and data entry
• Willingness to operate forklift and handle equipment
• Able to work overtime
• Able to work 8+ hours in hot/fast-paced environment
• Able to use small hand tools
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in manufacturing/plastics extrusion desirable
• Vinyl siding knowledge desirable
• 2 years forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Pick material
• Load floor stacked and palletized material
• Operate forklift
• Palletize product for loads
• Unload and inventory incoming products
• Read and understand orders
• Cube trailers for proper fit
• Load multiple stop trailers
• Track cartons loaded per truck/hour
• Adhere to safety guidelines
• Maintain 5-S housekeeping
• Ensure loading quality and accuracy
• Follow inventory practices
