Associated Materials / Alside is seeking a Shipper to support the logistics and distribution for our manufacturing facility. You will prepare and organize shipments, operate a forklift, and ensure accurate loading and inventory practices.

Qualifications

• Safety oriented and able to learn scanner and shipping data entry on a PC.
• Willing to work overtime in a hot, fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience is preferred (2+ years).
• Experience with vinyl siding manufacturing is desirable.
• Ability to read orders and perform accurate loading and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick material for shipments.
• Load floor stacked and palletized material.
• Operate forklift and pallet rider as needed.
• Palletize product for loads and secure cargo.
• Unload and store incoming products.
• Read and understand shipping orders.
• Cube trailers to fit material properly.
• Manage multiple trailer loads when required.
• Maintain 5-S housekeeping and safe practices.
• Adhere to good inventory handling procedures.
