G&W Products is seeking a Traffic Control Clerk at its Fairfield, OH warehouse to manage shipment tracking, documentation, and scheduling while coordinating with drivers, vendors, and customers. This role supports both office and warehouse operations and emphasizes accurate recordkeeping and regulatory compliance.

The position requires high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in logistics, and strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and transportation management software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or traffic management.
• Knowledge of traffic or transportation regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Track and document movement of goods, vehicles, or freight, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Process and prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, permits, and invoices.
• Coordinate scheduling and routing to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records in inventory management systems.
• Communicate with drivers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues or adjust shipments as needed.
• Provide customer service regarding tracking, delays, or shipping inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation and traffic regulations.
• Monitor and report on traffic patterns, shipment status, and logistics costs to support decision-making.
• Attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and compliance.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with computer systems and transportation management software for tracking, data entry, and reporting.
