Job summary

Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. is seeking a Logistics/Operations Coordinator to streamline the flow of work and materials across departments according to the production schedule.

You will support the dispatcher or operations manager in scheduling drivers, crews, and equipment for moves conducted from or to client locations. The role requires evaluating documents for accuracy, maintaining inventories, relaying orders to crews, and ensuring compliance with contract specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule.
• Assist dispatcher or operations manager in scheduling drivers, crews, and equipment for moves outside the place of business.
• Examine documents to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Rate moved items ensuring adherence to contract specifications.
• Scan documents, including order for service and authorizations, to corporate and Atlas.
• Order and maintain inventory of uniforms supplies necessary to meet crew demands.
• Relay shipment orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and quality control.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, packers, loaders for local and long-distance moves.
• Communicate effectively with revenue processing.
• Assist with military surveys and shipment updates as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
