Job summary

ACERTUS is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate dispatch operations for our nationwide fleet, ensuring efficient driver planning and execution. The role involves planning, communication, and performance monitoring to meet client needs while complying with regulations.

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a pay rate of $25/hr. You will motivate drivers and dispatch staff, evaluate requests, and maintain systems for accurate communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years using Windows and MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dispatch operations for drivers and staff.
• Evaluate pickup/delivery requests and assign drivers.
• Plan with available personnel to meet client needs.
• Maintain internal systems and ensure clear communication with customers.
• Estimate delivery times and coordinate with drivers.
• Analyze daily reports to improve efficiency.

Job description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate, plan, and execute dispatch operations to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of driver personnel within our nationwide fleet logistics service line.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $25/hr

What will you be doing?

• Motivate a staff of professional drivers and other dispatch/operations personnel.
• Evaluate incoming pick-up and delivery requests and determine driver assignments.
• Analyze client orders and available driving personnel to plan and execute within client needs and expectations.
• Maintain and update information in internal systems to ensure proper communication with both internal and external customers.
• Communicate with personnel or customers to estimate time of delivery or pickups.
• Coordinate with driving personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Analyze reports on daily basis and identify areas of improved efficiency.
• Develop action plans with driving personnel to reduce service failure.
• Ensure compliance with all FMCSR, State and Local regulations regarding dispatch operations and safe driving operations.
• Ensures driver maintains and submit receipts for all services performed.
• Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Windows computer system and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Great Oral and written communication skills.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize work according to deadlines and client expectations.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Strong logistic and geographic skill set.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience working with transportation software a plus.
• Personal responsibility to manage change.
