Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee drivers at the Boise terminal. You will direct daily activities, create schedules, and address routing and delivery challenges to ensure safe, timely service for customers.

You will work with fleet maintenance and HR to manage performance, training, compliance with DOT and industry standards, and to promote operational excellence across the distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years in distribution, logistics, and/or transportation with leadership experience.
• Class A or B CDL with current medical card.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily work direction to professional drivers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Create employee schedules, approve time, resolve timekeeping issues, monitor overtime, and take appropriate actions to meet goals.
• Maintain up-to-date copies of routes and monitor routing software to improve efficiency and meet customer demands.
• Train and coach drivers on proper procedures for activities and safety.
