Republic Services in Savannah, GA is seeking a Logistics Analyst to coordinate drivers, trucks and containers, improve routing efficiency, and ensure safe, courteous service to customers.

You will analyze routing data, respond to same-day changes, and monitor route performance to drive productivity and profitability while maintaining compliance with safety policies and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Two years of prior experience working in a Dispatcher or similar leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks, and containers to maximize capacity and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Analyze daily routing information and implement routing changes for efficiency.
• Respond to same-day changes and plan for future needs to improve route design.
• Close routes on time by verifying data and ensuring durable close processes.
• Monitor and resolve issues with trucks and drivers in transit.
• Manage driver safety and asset protection; direct drivers as needed.
• Collect and analyze logistics data to improve routing accuracy.
• Communicate with drivers to provide necessary information and feedback.
• Review loads per driver per day to maximize profitability.
• Identify swing routes and opportunities; evaluate trends to improve swing percentages.
