Job summary

Douglas Finishing in Minnesota is seeking a shipping/receiving associate to handle unloading freight, packaging shipments, and moving goods between departments. You will ensure accurate paperwork and timely delivery while maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, daily shipment preparation, and safe handling of hazardous materials with adherence to safety policies. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or able to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight.
• Forward packing slips to Shipping/Receiving coordinator for PO matching.
• Tag and store all incoming goods.
• Deliver goods to appropriate departments in finishing.
• Package all shipments securely and prepare daily small packages for pickup.
• Operate forklift to move incoming freight.
• Close down shipping at end of day and leave instructions for 2nd shift.
