Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years forklift experience with certification or capacity to gain certification.
• High School Diploma/GED and 1-3 years Manufacturing, Inventory Control or Logistics experience.
• Experience with inventory control systems and basic Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Compare identifying information and counts, weigh or measure items for shipments and verify against documents.
• Inspect shipments for damage or shortages and process according to packing lists and bills of lading.
• Move and route items using forklift or hand-truck; maintain orderly shipping area.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies; keep work areas clean and safe.
