Job summary

Donaldson Company Inc. is seeking a Shipping/Material Handler to support our logistics operations at our Harrisonville, MO location. You will load and unload, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure compliance with DOT and safety policies.

Responsibilities include following forklift procedures, coordinating with carriers, and supporting production lines to meet customer orders. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Requires forklift operation experience and ability to operate department equipment.
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years shipping/warehousing experience.
• Hazardous materials training may be required if handling hazmat.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Knowledge of local freight companies and schedules.
• Follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and observe all EHS rules.
• Understand customer shipping instructions and Donaldson shipping procedures.
• Inventory finished goods to assure production/availability accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with shipping procedures for record accuracy.
• Initiate investigations into inventory errors and correct them.
• Provide coverage for other members of the shipping and receiving department.
