Job summary

Douglas Dynamics, LLC is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team and help drive our continued success. This role supports our customers, strengthens our business, and contributes to long‑term growth through accurate, on‑time shipments.

You will move pallets manually or with a forklift, prepare products for shipment, load outbound freight on carriers, verify counts and quality, follow instructions, and collaborate with teammates across the organization in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Experience with forklifts and pallet movement.
• Ability to perform 5S housekeeping and safety procedures.
• Ability to read packing slips, picking tickets, BOL.
• Able to work outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Receive and ship incoming and outgoing products and deliver to proper areas.
• Load daily outgoing product on common carriers.
• Verify counts and quality of products.
• Follow instructions and assist other shipper/receivers.
• Operate forklifts safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Process required paperwork (packing slips, tickets, BOL).
• Work as part of a team or alone.
• Perform 5S activities.
