Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Fenestration Williamsport is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our Williamsport, MD warehouse operations. You will verify shipments, enter data into inventory systems, and help maintain accurate records and safety standards.

Key duties include inspecting incoming materials, labeling and storing items, assisting with counts and audits, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks as needed in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using MRP systems for inventory and receiving.
• Familiarity with IFS ERP for transactions.
• Experience with shipping software and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and PO docs.
• Inspect materials for damage and report issues.
• Enter receiving data into inventory systems.
• Label, sort, and store materials in warehouse locations.
• Maintain records of receipts and transactions.
• Assist with counts, audits, and reconciliation.
• Communicate shortages or discrepancies to staff.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and similar equipment.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
