Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Fenestration Williamsport in Williamsport, MD is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to provide administrative support for warehouse operations. You will verify incoming shipments, enter data into inventory systems, and help maintain accurate records.

Based in a 1st shift warehouse, the role requires comfort with Microsoft Excel, familiarity with MRP/ERP systems, and careful attention to detail to ensure safe, organized receiving and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using MRP systems for inventory tracking and receiving transactions.
• Experience using IFS ERP for receiving, inventory management, and transaction processing preferred.
• Experience processing and tracking shipments using UPS WorldShip or similar software.
• Ability to accurately enter, maintain, and retrieve data from company systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues to management.
• Accurately enter receiving information into inventory management systems or company records.
• Label, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate records of received products and inventory transactions.
• Assist with inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
• Communicate shortages, overages, and damaged goods to appropriate personnel.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Keep receiving and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
