Erickson Senior Living’s Ashby Ponds community in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Receiver to manage incoming and outgoing goods, maintain documentation, and enter receipts into electronic systems. The role involves lifting and moving items, with a 9:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule Monday through Friday.

This position emphasizes accuracy in records, collaboration with the Supply & Distribution Coordinator, and cross-training for additional duties.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent customer service skills with strong analytical abilities and proficiency in calculations.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds; this position involves significant physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily receipt of equipment, supplies, and parts for the community.
• Deliver goods to departments and inventory locations.
• Manage documentation for proof of receipt, including electronic and manual records.
• Transmit required paperwork to corporate accounts payable and enter receipts into electronic order systems.
• Complete backorder processes.
• Handle pickups and merchandise returns as needed.
• Notify customers of any discrepancies in received goods.
• Assist the Supply & Distribution Coordinator and cross-train for their duties.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
