Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support engineering-manufacturing coordination, retrograde material management, and cross-functional project execution for company owned/company operating COCO programs.

The role oversees SAP ERP processes, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and drives schedules, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business admin or related; 9+ years in project administration with 3+ years PM
• Must understand project management processes, planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Ability to organize, schedule workloads to meet milestones and budgets
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel as required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Responsibilities

• Create internal sales orders and purchase requisitions; ensure parts and materials flow timely
• Manage shipping/transportation of equipment and material, including COMSEC
• Coordinate with International Trade Compliance for ITAR/EAC compliance
• Provide SME guidance on SAP ERP processes
• Serve as primary contact for retrograde material and coordinate with Depot repair to meet timelines
• Review received material for accuracy and correct errors
• Ensure rapid disposition of emergent material movement requests
• Assist PMs with initiating and drafting Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
• Draft Statements of Work for Intercompany Work Agreements (IWA)
• May participate in or lead RFP processes to generate new business
• Communicate project expectations and status to team and stakeholders
• Assess issues and propose solutions supporting production, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Prepare progress reports, proposals, requirements docs, and presentations
• Perform other duties as assigned
