  • Experience with cost models and/or cost analysis.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Job description

  • Lead, coordinate, and oversee logistics and supply chain projects from initiation to completion
  • Streamline operations and manage cross-functional teams
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods while optimizing costs and efficiency
  • Oversee the entire process for assigned logistics projects
  • Manage contractors, costs, budgets, permits, routes, transportation tool returns, project-site deliveries, and vessel operations
  • Manage personnel and processes for efficient distribution of goods
  • Manage orders and oversee order fulfillment cycles
  • Ensure supplies and materials are processed safely and effectively through the delivery system
  • Own end-to-end processes, budgets, and logistics supplier contract execution for assigned projects
  • Complete customs documentation with carriers, brokers, and forwarders
  • Lead meetings, prepare reports, and provide updates to senior management
  • Ensure Nordex safety instructions are followed during port operations, vessel discharge, storage, and trucking loading
  • Ensure route surveys and route improvements support contractual milestones and delivery schedules
  • Support port operations and stakeholder adherence to safety and instructional processes
  • Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans
  • Provide industry requirements information for transportation contract negotiations
  • Ensure logistics suppliers have proper permits
  • Manage return logistics for assigned projects
  • Collaborate with transportation suppliers, procurement, and internal stakeholders
  • Use logistics software and project management tools to track KPIs and performance metrics
  • Communicate shipment and delivery status
  • Resolve logistical issues and project roadblocks
  • Analyze cost drivers, processes, and specifications to identify cost and performance improvements
  • Create commercial invoices and packing lists
  • Stay informed of logistics technology advances and apply appropriate technology to improve processes
  • Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (3-5 years) required
  • 3+ years’ experience in transportation planning/project cargo required
  • Ability to read and understand scopes of work and MSA contracts
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations for different countries and compliances
  • Experience working with cost models and/or performing cost analysis
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred
  • Strong process and data analysis focus
  • Demonstrated understanding of international and domestic transportation documentation requirements
  • Knowledge of rigging and lifting tooling is a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice
  • Excellent oral, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability/experience working in a constantly changing environment
  • Fluency in English mandatory; French, Spanish, or German is a plus
  • Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company auto insurance policy
  • Must demonstrate commitment to safety protocols and procedures
  • Must ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Must proactively identify and mitigate safety hazards
  • Must properly use applicable safety equipment
  • Must speak and understand English fluently for safety and job-related communication
