Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a 1st shift in the Boardman, OH area. The role focuses on coordinating inbound and outbound freight, documentation, and carrier management to ensure on-time production and delivery in a manufacturing setting.

Based in a combined office and manufacturing environment, the position offers a contract-to-hire path after approximately 90 days. Strong ERP and Excel skills are beneficial for daily reporting and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, supply chain, or related operations.
• Proven experience coordinating inbound and outbound freight activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound/outbound freight to support production schedules.
• Schedule and monitor freight activity to ensure timely receipt and shipment.
• Lead and support shipping personnel and loading staff.
• Develop daily shipping and transportation schedules for internal teams and partners.
• Resolve loading dock conflicts and prioritize freight movements.
