Job summary

PrimeSource Building Products, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Planner to perform transportation and routing using SAP/TM, ensuring on-time deliveries to customer locations.

You will support DCs and coordinate with drivers, warehouses, and suppliers to maintain smooth operations. This role requires adapting daily routes, managing shipments, and processing paperwork, with focus on cost-effective planning, data reporting, and adherence to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Read, Speak, and Write English.
• Proficient with PC and Microsoft software applications.
• One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and process daily deliveries and shipments for DCs and x-docks.
• Perform product delivery/shipment creation and management.
• Route delivery trucks from DCs and Cross-docks to customer locations efficiently and cost-effectively by minimizing transportation costs.
• Coordinate Full truckload, LTL, and transfer movements.
• Coordinate inbound shipments.
• Coordinate and assist with parcel and customer pick-up orders.
• Manage paperwork flow for all aspects of deliveries, including reverse logistics.
• Interact daily with drivers, warehouse personnel, operations support, customer care, sales consultants, vendors, and management to ensure smooth workflow.
