Job summary

PrimeSource Building Products Inc. is seeking a Logistics Planner to optimize transportation routes using SAP TM and ensure on-time delivery to customer locations.

The role involves coordinating with distribution centers (DCs), drivers, and suppliers, handling paperwork, and supporting logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with PC/Microsoft software, and relevant experience or a certificate.

Qualifications

• Read, Speak, and Write English
• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficient with PC and Microsoft software applications
• One year certificate from college or technical school, or 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and process daily deliveries and shipments for DCs and x-docks.
• Route delivery trucks from DCs and Cross-docks to customer locations efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Coordinate inbound shipments; manage paperwork flow for all aspects of deliveries; assist with reverse logistics.
• Interact daily with drivers, warehouse personnel, operations support, and customers to ensure smooth workflow.
