Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Logistics Planner to coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements and optimize service and cost for customer orders and inventory between carriers and consignment locations.

You will build daily load plans, manage tender processes, coordinate carrier pick-ups, and communicate across internal teams and external partners to ensure timely deliveries and continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of logistics industry experience.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with internal/external parties.

Responsibilities

• Build and validate daily load plan using EFMS, Topex, or TMS and ensure carrier selections.
• Ensure carrier receipt of daily load tenders via 204, fax, or TMS equipment.
• Coordinate appointment acquisition to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers to align on direction and expectations.
• Coordinate carrier pickup times and provide daily shipment plan to distribution center.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to improve cost, service, and value.
• Identify compliance issues and suggest remedies/actions to Operations supervisor.
• Oversee yard and shuttle service.
