CellCarta in Naperville, IL is seeking a driven Logistics Operator I to join our on-site team. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to supply preparation, labeling, kit production, and shipping within a fast-paced biotech environment.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop practical logistics and project-management skills while supporting quality and accuracy in all materials handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required; operations/production experience is an asset.
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel.
• Competency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and timely follow-up with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supply preparation including picking, SRFs, lab labels, and manuals.
• Label production and peer review to ensure accuracy.
• Produce and assemble supplies and lab kits; shipper prep.
• Process orders, documentation, packing and shipping.
• Create work orders and manage inventory planning.

Summary

The Logistics Operator I is responsible for various Operations duties required to fulfill the scope outlined in the statement of work contracted with sponsors. Operates to maintain CellCarta Logistics Inc. (CCL) as a trusted provider of laboratory manuals, labels and kits for specialty assay.

Responsibilities

• Supply Preparation (Supply picking, Supply production (SRFs, lab address labels, Lab manual Production and peer review))
• Label Production (Label Production and Peer Review)
• Supply Material Production (Kit assembly, Lab Address Labels, Preparation and Assembly of Shippers, Label Handling)
• Shipping (Order Picking, documentation preparation, packing and shipping)
• Work Order creation (planning worksheet, inventory management)

Education

• High School Diploma

Main Requirements

• No previous experience required. Previous experience in operations/production environment is an asset.
• Intermediate-level experience with excel
• Competency with Microsoft Office
