Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is offering an entry-level, hands-on program designed for active-duty service members through the DoD SkillBridge.

You will gain exposure to warehouse operations, logistics, and safety while learning our business model and core values through structured on-the-job training at branch locations. You will participate in inventory control, order fulfillment, and customer service activities, with guidance from Branch Managers and ongoing support to transition toward civilian

Qualifications

• Active-duty service member eligible for DoD SkillBridge or approved military internship program.
• 180 days or fewer remaining on active duty at program start
• Approval from Chain of Command
• Pay Grade E5 and above

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of safety and compliance by following OSHA standards and forklift safety protocols.
• Assist with warehouse logistics: inventory control, cycle counting, stock rotation, and order fulfillment processes.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and ensure proper loading/unloading per weight distribution guidelines.
• Receive, inspect, and store materials from suppliers and internal transfers with accurate records.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and internal tools to track inventory, shipments, and safety compliance.
• Perform daily/weekly equipment inspections and document results.
• Support routing and delivery logistics using GPS and scheduling tools.
• Enter and manage purchase orders and vendor receiving documentation.
• Monitor unbilled orders, backorders, and supplier disputes.
