Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is offering a SkillBridge internship at our Pacific Region branches in Washington, Oregon, California, and Hawaii.

You will gain hands-on exposure to warehouse operations, sales, finance, safety, supply chain, and human resources through structured on-the-job training to support a smooth transition into a civilian career. Qualifications

• Active-duty service member eligible for DoD SkillBridge or approved military internship.
• 180 days or fewer remaining on active duty at program start.
• Approval from Chain of Command and pay grade E5 or higher.
• Willingness to learn across warehouse, sales, finance, safety and HR areas.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and OSHA compliance and proper PPE usage in the warehouse.
• Assist with warehouse logistics: inventory control, cycle counts, order fulfillment.
• Operate material handling equipment and assist with loading/unloading.
• Receive, inspect, and store materials with accurate records.
• Use WMS and internal tools to track inventory and shipments.
• Perform daily and weekly equipment inspections and document results.
• Support routing and delivery logistics including GPS and scheduling tools.
• Handle purchase orders, vendor documents, and branch transfers.
• Provide customer service via counter sales, phone, and walk-ins.
