Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines offers a Management Trainee program to develop operations leaders through a 16-week intensive training, mentored by experienced leaders. You will learn the essentials of transportation, cross-dock efficiency, and effective leadership communication.

Upon completion, relocation to another facility for your first leadership role is required, with hands-on exposure including customer calls and driver routes to reinforce skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Logistics or 2+ years related work experience.
• Must have an acceptable driving history per company standards.
• Willingness to relocate after program completion.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic transportation principles, cross-dock operations, and leadership communication.
• Interface with Support Center and Service Center during training activities.
• Observe an Account Manager during customer sales calls and ride along with drivers occasionally.
