You will hire, train, coach, evaluate performance, and lead daily briefings while adapting to changing business needs. Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Associate’s degree or 2+ years of college in related area acceptable in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Champions FedEx Safety Above All culture and related initiatives.
• Supervises staff including hiring, coaching, training, performance evaluations and discipline.
• Plans and directs day-to-day operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assigns and manages staff for safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Monitors performance and implements improvement actions for key metrics.
• Conducts daily meetings to communicate updates and goals.
• Develops and administers safety and employee relations programs.
• Resolves escalated customer service issues and trains new staff.
