Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All culture and oversee day-to-day operations and an assigned staff. You will manage package handlers, ensure safe sortation, and monitor performance while guiding administrative functions in line with FedEx policies and regulations.

The role requires engaging leadership, coaching, and strong communication to drive safety, efficiency, and quality across operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in a similar setting (package handler, fast-paced environment) or supervisory experience.
• In lieu of experience, certification or 2+ years of college toward a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations and assigned staff.
• Ensure safe and efficient package sortation and adherence to FedEx policies.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control operations to meet goals.
• Train new employees on duties, performance expectations and safety procedures.
• Mentor and develop staff; communicate goals and updates to teams.
