Batesville is seeking an Operations Leader to assist the Manager in day-to-day facility operations, focusing on performance metrics, talent development, and proper staffing to meet market opportunities. About half of the role is non-operational, ensuring a balance between oversight and hands-on work.

You will drive recruiting and training, oversee safety and quality costs, and partner with Sales to manage service efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred; 2+ years related experience or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsabilités

• Lead, direct, develop and manage associates.
• Upgrade personnel and performance through training and regular performance reviews.
• Oversee local operations: cost, delivery, safety, property, quality costs, standards, policies, and customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, interview, hire and train hourly personnel.
• Support high standards of customer service in order taking and problem solving.
• Input for annual service center budget.
• Assist in policy deployment, root cause and countermeasure analysis.
• Improve operations and inventory efficiency at CSC level (fill rates).
• Train in health, safety, SOPs, phone skills, etc.
• Protect assets (inventory, cards, fuel, petty cash).
• Analyze competition, strengths/weaknesses; seek opportunities.
• Maintain professional image; ensure truck/driver appearance.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects to improve performance.
• Work with Sales Managers to control costs of special deliveries.
• Provide input on market needs related to distribution and service.
• Other duties as assigned.
