Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Lake Orion, MI is hiring a Supply Chain Ops Specialist to manage specialized operational functions within our SCS logistics operation. The role supports troubleshooting, reporting, and process improvements to prevent errors and optimize performance.

You will interact with carriers and customers as needed and may assist with training and onboarding of new staff. This is a salaried position with a Monday–Friday schedule and a pay range of $58,000 to $60,000 per year,

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• One year or more in logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily/shift goals of facility and work groups.
• Assist with and train hourly, SNE or other specialists.
• Lead and initiate employees through in-depth training and policy understanding.
• Decision making for location activities including demand planning, supplier calls and customer interactions.
• Support and aid in system and process training; perform operational administrative functions.
• Identify and solve operational issues with continuous improvement initiatives.
