Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with routing and scheduling optimization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers and manage schedules.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach goals and ensure policy compliance.
• Carry out managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and discipline when needed.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Dispatch and resolve issues with contract carriers throughout the day.
