Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Coordinator – Logistics Operations to lead inbound receiving, storage, and outbound shipping within the Distribution Center.

You will supervise a team of 5+ associates, ensure accurate PO receipt, coordinate labeling and transfers, enforce safety standards, and collaborate with leadership to optimize performance and service levels.

Qualifications

• Warehouse/distribution center experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership of teams.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient with software applications and transportation systems.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety rules in a warehouse.
• Background check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 5+ employees and workflow to ensure maximum service levels.
• Ensure safe and timely loading/unloading of inbound trucks and containers.
• Manage the receipt of inbound POs and transfers into the DC including documentation.
• Coordinate labeling and shipment of outbound transfers with documentation and updates.
• Monitor warehouse doors for unauthorized entry and maintain security.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of packaging, product, and equipment.
• Assist Supervisor with performance management and recognition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, efficient work environment.
• Operate powered lift equipment.
