Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of LTL industry, DOT/OSHA rules, NMFC and Tariff rules.
• Independent work and teamwork capability.
• Organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, educate and develop employees focusing on retention and growth.
• Supervise work with focus on quality, customer deliverables and safety.
• Monitor unsafe acts and correct with corrective action.
• Plan daily manpower and schedules to ensure on-time, damage-free freight.
• Communicate assignments clearly with staff.
• Ensure cut time compliance and monitor service freight.
• Identify opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies while maintaining safety.
• Assist customers with rate quotes, claim information and setting appointments.
• Gather data for reporting and analyze performance.
• Build relationships with business partners to meet service standards.
• Identify improper freight weight/classification.
• Ensure OS&D is identified and processed.
• Perform administrative functions and comply with laws and policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
