Job summary

New England Appliance Group is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee all logistics operations, mentor staff, and ensure safety and efficiency across the warehouse and distribution center. You will analyze delivery data, coordinate with internal teams and carriers, and drive process improvements to enhance performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong administrative skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office products (Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams).
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently, resolve crises, exercise sound judgment when making decisions within the scope of the position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups (members, vendors, outside truckers and co-workers).
• Self-motivated, takes the initiative, and possess a sense of urgency.
• Must be consistently punctual and dependable.
• Ability to efficiently coordinate activities and communication between internal departments and external partners.
• Ability to lift 10-15 lbs when necessary. On occasion may need to move, lift, bend, stoop, reach, twist, push, or pull items.
• Ability to operate several types of power equipment.
• A team player, possess a positive “can-do” attitude and willing to take on tasks that may fall outside the primary responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics operations and supervise staff to ensure efficient processes.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and accurate receiving records.
• Analyze delivery performance data to identify trends and improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Develop, train, and motivate direct reports.
• Monitor inbound delivery schedules and carrier relationships to reduce issues.
• Reconcile invoices and warehouse PO’s weekly.
• Report KPIs for logistics team and vendors.
• Lead continuous improvement projects across the facility.
• Coordinate scheduling of all inbound delivery appointments.
• Monitor returns and reverse logistics processes.
• Support cross-functional growth and internal mobility.
