Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Team Lead, Operations to oversee warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities. You will mentor staff, enforce SOPs, and ensure efficiency and quality in daily logistics tasks.

You will coordinate with the Operations Supervisor to lead associates, maintain safety standards, and meet service and cost objectives. Experience with MHE and forklift certification is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Experience working in unregulated warehouse temperatures.
• Forklift training/certification completed.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new and existing associates on distribution activities and SOPs.
• Oversee unloading, receiving, picking, staging, and outbound shipment operations.
• Communicate professionally with customers and prepare activity reports.
• Ensure quality control using proper documentation and reporting damages or discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
