Job summary

The Logistics Specialist 4 position is based in Santa Ana, CA, reporting to logistics leadership. You will act as a liaison between 3PL, 4PL, carriers, and internal teams to analyze operational reports, track shipment status, and maintain daily communication with partners to ensure on-time delivery across the supply chain network.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. with 5-7 years of relevant logistics experience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze information to identify and make recommendations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal.
• Proficient Excel skills (extract data, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Ability to travel and support weekends/overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between 3PL, 4PL, and carriers.
• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports and KPIs to ensure operational excellence.
• Produce and distribute department reports to stakeholders within the supply chain.
• Provide shipment status updates to various business units.
• Download and analyze shipping data from TMS and WMS to identify in-transit status.
• Confirm deliveries (IOD) in TMS and upload POD to TMS and NERP.
• Maintain daily communication with 3PL, 4PL, and carriers for on-time delivery.
• Identify trends and issues affecting on-time IOD/POD collection.
• Identify process improvements and streamline existing processes.
• Manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
