Job summary

Daikin Comfort Houston is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to ensure daily workload is generated and distributed to the floor for all distribution center and warehouse operations. You will coordinate with the Logistics Operations team, direct trailer flow in the yard and doors, and communicate clearly with forklift drivers, operations, and office staff to maintain efficient service.

This role requires flexibility, outdoor work in various weather, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

3+ years of office support or customer service experience preferred.
3–5 years in a large distribution control/logistics environment.
WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with Logistics Operations to provide logistical support for daily Operations Team.
Direct the trailers in the yard and doors to ensure smooth flow and faster service.
Communicate effectively with forklift drivers, operations, and office personnel.
Complete paperwork, data entry and maintain files in an organized and timely manner.
Follow safety rules and regulations; adhere to company policies and procedures; includes weekend shifts.
Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.
