Job summary

Kings Group Logistics in New Jersey is seeking an Operations Coordinator (Logistics) to support day-to-day shipping, transportation, and demand planning. You will coordinate shipments, track deliveries, communicate with carriers, and resolve issues to maintain service levels.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Supply Chain/Business or related field (or equivalent) with 1–3 years in logistics, strong organization, and proficiency in Excel. ERP or TMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain (entry-level roles may require less).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor and track deliveries, proactively addressing delays or issues
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain and update logistics systems, shipment records, and documentation
• Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Support process optimization initiatives to improve cost efficiency and service quality
• Handle customer inquiries related to shipping, delivery, and order status
• Creating and sending invoices to clients.
• Reviewing and posting invoices from carriers and service providers
• Dispatching and managing truck deliveries
• Filing AES and AMS and monitoring customs clearances
