Job summary

GLS US is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support daily operations at the Portland location. You will coordinate with drivers, contractors, customers, and the Operations team to ensure timely delivery and pickup of parcels, reporting to the Depot Supervisor on shift.

You will maintain route knowledge, assist with dispatching, and perform clerical tasks while supporting training and onboarding as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with drivers, contractors, customers, and team members is essential.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Comfort with clerical duties and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure drivers have up-to-date route sheets for scheduled routes.
• Assist managers to dispatch drivers and monitor performance.
• Schedule pickups to appropriate route drivers and maintain driver relationships.
• Conduct periodic meetings with TPC relationships and maintain good coworker relations.
• Maintain knowledge of routes and locations to ensure timely service and accurate information.
• Perform general clerical duties: typing, reporting, mail distribution, requisitions.
• Provide paperwork and training support as needed by Operations Management.
