Job summary

General Logistics Systems US in Portland is hiring an Operations Coordinator to support daily parcel delivery and pickup operations. You will communicate with drivers, contractors, customers, and the Operations team to ensure timely service and accurate information on routes and schedules.

Reporting to the Depot Supervisor, you will handle clerical duties, maintain files, compile reports, and assist with onboarding and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Excellent communication with drivers, contractors and customers.
• Experience coordinating dispatch and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assure drivers have up-to-date route sheets.
• Assist managers to keep drivers on schedule.
• Coordinate pickups with route drivers.
• Maintain records and prepare reports.
• Provide clerical support and answer calls.
