Job summary

C & C Children's Wear Corporation is seeking a highly organized Logistics & Operations Coordinator to support the Logistics Manager and assist with daily shipping, inventory, compliance and financial operations. This full-time, in-office role is based in New York City and focuses on international shipments, vendor coordination, and warehouse coordination.

Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills, experience in logistics or apparel, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, importing, wholesale distribution or apparel preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and QuickBooks an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments, obtain freight quotations, and track deliveries.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers.
• Coordinate with European brand partners on shipping schedules and documentation.
• Review shipping docs and assist with compliance records for the CPSC portal.
• Prepare pick tickets and coordinate shipment approvals with warehouse partners.
• Support EDI, purchase orders, and shipping compliance for retail accounts.
• Prepare customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable follow-up.
• Support accounts payable and general recordkeeping.
• Identify process improvements and provide backup for logistics functions.

Founded in 1984, C&C Children's Wear is an established U.S. distributor of premium European children's fashion brands, serving specialty boutiques and major retail partners across North America.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Logistics & Operations Coordinator to support our Logistics Manager and assist with daily shipping, inventory, compliance and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Shipping: Coordinate international shipments, obtain freight quotations, track deliveries and communicate with freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers.
• Vendor Coordination: Communicate with European brand partners regarding shipping schedules, documentation and order fulfillment.
• Import & Compliance: Review international shipping documentation, coordinate with customs brokers and assist with uploading product testing and compliance records to the CPSC portal.
• Warehouse Operations: Prepare pick tickets, coordinate shipment approvals and communicate with warehouse partners to ensure accurate, timely fulfillment.
• EDI & Retail Operations: Support EDI implementation, purchase order processing and shipping compliance for department-store and specialty retail accounts.
• Invoicing & Receivables: Prepare customer invoices, monitor outstanding balances and assist with accounts receivable follow-up.
• Financial Administration: Support accounts payable, payment reconciliation and general operational recordkeeping.
• Operational Support: Maintain accurate documentation, identify process improvements and provide backup coverage for key logistics functions.
